Admission Requirements

Students intending to complete our Messianic Jewish Studies certificate with the goal of transferring credit hours to Tyndale Seminary must have proof of a G.E.D. or High School diploma. Students must be at least 18 years old and are required to live on campus.

Application Requirements Checklist

Prospective students must provide:
  • proof of health insurance
  • a completed physical examination by a health physician
  • three references: 1 personal, 1 ministry (pastor or mentor), 1 professional (prior boss)
  • a completed application packet
  • a signed doctrinal statement
  • a written  personal testimony
  • a copy of academic transcripts

Tuition & Fees

Ariel’s School of Messianic Jewish Studies is a 9 month (3 trimester) certificate program which runs from September to May each year (see the Course Schedule for exact dates). The total program cost is $10,000. This includes room and board, and all meals (three meals a day) including weekends. All utilities are also covered in the cost. A deposit of $2,000 is due with your application.

School Pricing (costs breakdown):
  • The Full Year (3 Trimesters) – $10,000
  • 2 Trimesters – $7,000
  • 1 Trimester – $4,000
  • 1 Module (2 Weeks) – $890
  • 1 Class – $445

* This includes room & board and all meals (three meals a day) including weekends. All utilities are also covered in the cost.

NOTE: If space is not available in the program you may apply your deposit to the following year or have it returned. If you are not accepted to ASMJS, your fee will be returned to you. Deposits are non-refundable except for specific exceptions that the registrar will determine on a case by case basis. Deposits cannot be refunded after June 1st under any circumstance. ASMJS students get a guaranteed spot on the 5 Week Study Tour of Israel (this cost is not included in the price of tuition).

Payment Options:

The remaining tuition balance of $8,000 is due in full before the first day of September classes begin. Optionally, you may complete your payment by choosing one (see application) of the following plans:

  • 2 Pay Plan: $4,000 due October 1st, and $4,000 due February 1st. A late fee of 10% will be added to the installment every 10 days the payment runs past the due dates listed.
  • 4 Pay Plan: $2,000 due October 1st, $2,000 due December 1st, $2,000 due February 1st, and $2,000 due April 1st. A late fee of 10% will be added to the installment every 10 days the payment runs past the due dates listed.

All tuition must be paid by check, money order, or credit card to the registrar’s office. Please make checks payable to Ariel Ministries (write ASMJS Tuition in the memo line) and send payment to:

Scholarships

Limited scholarships may be available based upon need (there are no full scholarships available). Please contact the school office at (518) 834-6057 to inquire as early as possible.

If you would like to donate toward the scholarship fund to help future students, please contact the school office at (518) 834-6057. Or, you may simply mail a check (write ASMJS Scholarship Fund in the memo line) to address listed above.

International Students

In addition to other Admission Requirements, international students must obtain an M-1 Visa. We are currently in the process of being recognized by the Department of Homeland Security as an M1 institution, so please check with the registrar for questions or updates.

Once we are approved for M-1 status, we will issue you an I-20 Form. We encourage you to work with your local church to obtain full financial support during your stay in the United States.

  • Academic Transcripts (a copy of your High School diploma or G.E.D., and any college transcripts)

  • Proof of a physical examination within the last 6 months
