Every summer for the past 40 years, Ariel Ministries has welcomed students of all ages from many countries to join us for our intensive Bible teaching from a Messianic Jewish Perspective held at Camp Shoshanah. After so many years of successful summer camps, which eventually developed into our six-week Program of Messianic Jewish Studies, we are pleased to announce the anticipated grand opening of Ariel’s School of Messianic Jewish Studies. At ASMJS, you will find affordable costs, small classes, dedicated faculty, and a focused curriculum.
Nestled in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York, ASMJS offers a one-year non-accredited Bible certificate program designed to lead men and women into a deeper understanding of God’s word from a Messianic Jewish perspective. Our distinctive program extends from September to May (Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters), and during these nine months students will earn their certificate. Upon successful completion of the required Course Schedule, each student will be awarded their Certificate of Messianic Jewish Studies during the concluding graduation ceremony.
Ariel’s School of Messianic Jewish Studies is available in two academic tracks: full-time or part-time.
- The full-time track is designed for those who can come the full academic year (nine-month) in the residential school. Completion of the year will earn a certificate of Messianic Jewish Studies
- The part-time track is designed for those in ministry or working people that cannot come for the full nine-months but can get away for just one two-week module.
A part-time student would enroll in the classes offered in a particular module of interest and come just for those two weeks. This allows students to go through our program over time by coming for one or two modules a year, as they are able. Thus each module will be attended by students in both tracks, full-time and part-time.
In addition to attending classes, students in both academic tracks will have a number of options to enhance their spiritual growth including: doing academic research and writing, undistracted and extended quiet time with the Lord, and connecting with like-minded believers — all within the scenic setting of the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York.
Ariel’s School of Messianic Jewish Studies is currently non-accredited. We will be working on the accreditation process in the upcoming years. Students intending to complete our Messianic Jewish Studies certificate will have the opportunity of transferring credit hours to partnering Bible Colleges and/or Seminaries.
